About Fay Marley-Clarke

The love of photography happened quite by accident. [There are no such things as accidents.] As a person who stutters, I found I could hide very easily behind the camera, and I didn't have to talk. I could watch and learn about people, their reactions, their freedom, and became fascinated with anticipating their next move. Later on, I went on to college and took formal training in photography, film and television to see if it was something I could really enjoy. And, boom, that is when it happened. One thing led to another and I was launched. Photography became my voice!

WHY SHOULD I CHOOSE FAY TO PHOTOGRAPH ME?
Portrait photography to me is more of a "study" of who you are. It takes time, and doesn't always happen in a moment. Sometimes it takes many moments for you to unfold. Being present during your self-revelation process, means volumes to me as a photographer. It means that as you explore deeper levels of yourself in the safety of the studio, on location and in the comfort of a new friend, your soul opens and a kind of magic happens. It is then that, "You get to really feel how beautiful you really are". And my photographs only confirm that!
